Adding a Custom Page

There are three places in the BV Commerce shopping cart software to access your custom pages. Under Catalog at the top of the BV Commerce admin, you can choose Categories or you can go directly to Pages. There is also an Add a Custom Page link on the bottom left hand corner of the Dashboard.

Adding a custom page to your online store is done from the Categories/Pages webpage. Using the dropdown list, choose Custom Page. Use the Site Root dropdown list to determine where you’d like the page to appear on your store.

Give your custom page a name and enter the information you’d like the page to display using HTML. You can add text and images to your custom page. You can also give the custom page a specific URL for search engines and enter a Meta title, description and keywords.

Your custom pages will be listed along with your categories on the Categories/Pages web page.

Don’t forget to click Update or Save Changes when you’re done. Click View in Store to see your changes on your live web store.

Adding Images to Custom Pages

Under Pages at the top of the BV Commerce admin, choose Page Images.

Locate your image on your computer and click the Upload button. Then copy and paste the name of your image into the HTML on your custom page. Click Go to Store to see your changes.
