Custom Domain Name Setup

With your BV Commerce shopping cart software your store will start out with a domain name like mystore.bvcommerce.com. If you would like a custom domain name (mystore.com) fill out the available form and we’ll arrange a custom domain name for your online store.

You will notice that we ask if you have an SSL certificate. This is a means by which web servers prove their identity to web browsers. Having one verifies your trustworthiness to customers. BV Commerce initially issues you a shared SSL certificate, but if you choose to have a custom domain name, you will need your own. BV Software can supply an SSL certificate for you if you wish.
